Co-op Girls NFL Flag Football League for 2nd-8th graders, Sunday games September 13 through October 11 at West Allis Athletic Complex. Volunteer parent coaches, three sections by grade band. Feeds into the broader cooperative girls program across the North Shore.
Sunday-morning girls lacrosse clinic at WFB High School's Lubar Stadium for kids going into 1st-8th grade. Run by coaches and players from the WNS Junior Wolfpack (Whitefish Bay/Nicolet/Shorewood Girls Lacrosse Club). Beginners welcome - no experience needed. Sticks, goggles, and a mouth guard required (borrowing is possible, contact Kathleen Reid).

This three-day camp at The Little Village Play Cafe is a creative haven for young kids and their caregivers. Focused on sensory play and imaginative discovery, it’s a chance for little ones to explore art in a fun, hands-on way. Expect vibrant activities like finger painting and color-changing jars. Caregivers stay and join in the fun, making it a bonding experience.

Full-day workshop series at Lydell taught by Cricket Chinese Academy for kids 6-12. Eight standalone Monday or Wednesday sessions covering Chinese culture and traditions — dumpling making, lantern crafts, a dragon boat mini-race, Chinese yo-yo, chess, paper cutting, and kite-making. Pick the days that fit. Peanut-free lunches only.

Full-day Mad Science camp at Lydell themed around light, color, and optical illusions. Kids bend lasers around the room, dissect white light with special specs, watch a small indoor fireworks demo, play with mirror illusions, and build a periscope to take home.

Five-day Young Rembrandts workshop for kids 6-12 who are into K-pop and anime drawing. Each day, students draw anime characters in K-pop styling — specialty eyes, outfits, stage poses — on 11x17 paper using color pencils, Sharpies, and markers. One week of mornings at Lydell.
