About this event

The Quiet Reading Club at Wauwatosa Public Library is a great way for kids to keep up with their reading over the summer. Every Tuesday, the library opens its story room for young readers to enjoy some peaceful time with a book. It's a relaxed setting where kids can focus on their reading, with fidgets available for those who need them.

The library provides a wide selection of books, so there's no need to bring your own. This program is designed for children and respects developmental age ranges, making it a thoughtful and inclusive environment. It's a simple, no-pressure way to encourage a love for reading.

From the organizer

Calling all bookworms! Beat the summer slide and keep reading all summer long.  Join our Quiet Reading Club on Tuesdays this summer. We're opening up the story room for you to hang out in the peace and quiet with a good book. We'll have fidgets available if you need help focusing. Don't have a book picked out? Don't worry! We have tons! Registration is not required. Please note: Our children's programs are planned so that they are developmentally appropriate for children of the age range specified. Please respect these age designations when bringing children to Library programs.
