Redd's Line Up flips the format: a dedicated Advanced and High Improver line dance party at Red Rock Saloon — no beginner basics, just a room full of people who can actually dance. Sundays, 4–7pm.

A good late-summer camp that captures what's happening at Lynden in August.

Adventure Camp at Riverside Park is perfect for kids who love the outdoors. They'll learn biking, hiking, and paddling while exploring Milwaukee's parks. Make sure to pack a lunch and plenty of water. Before and after care is available if you need it.

Dive into nature at the Urban Ecology Center's Sapling Stories camp. Kids will explore the park through stories, games, and hands-on activities. It's a full week of outdoor fun and learning. Remember to pack a lunch and dress for adventure!

Four-day Skyhawks soccer camp at Lydell for 7-12 year-olds, afternoons 1:30-4:30pm. The Skyhawks program has been around 30+ years and uses a progression-based curriculum to build technical skills. Kids should bring two snacks and plenty of water.

Week-long orchestra prep at WFB High School with Christine Annin, the WFB orchestra and general music educator. Runs August 17–21, with four sections to pick from — a chance to brush off summer rust and get sharper before fall orchestra starts.

Beginner golf camp from Skyhawks held on the Lydell soccer field. Uses the PGA's SNAG system with plastic clubs and tennis balls, so kids can actually make contact and learn form before stepping onto a course. Four afternoons, Monday through Thursday. All equipment provided; kids bring water and two snacks.

Full-day camp at Cahill Park Pavilion taught by two Whitefish Bay elementary teachers, Kelly Kubicki and Kevin Lazovik. Days mix playground time, LEGO building, math games, and reading. Tennis shoes only (no Crocs or flip-flops) and kids bring a bagged lunch. Two sections across the summer.

Kids can dive into creativity at this hands-on ceramic workshop. They'll craft their own tic-tac-toe boards from scratch, choosing colors and designs. It's a fun way for kids to explore art and take home something unique. Spots fill up fast, so register early!
