Mad Science: Nasa Camp

A week of space science at Lydell Community Center for 5–12 year-olds; mornings 8am to noon in Room 15. Mad Science Staff partner with NASA content to walk kids through the solar system; stars; and the practical problems of getting humans into orbit. Kids build circuits as part of astronaut training; bounce lasers around to see how exploration tech works; and finish the week building and launching a Skyblazer Rocket. Each camper goes home with NASA takeaways across the week. August 17-21; 8am · At Lydell School & Community Center · $280 residents; $290 non-residents.
