Beginner golf camp using the PGA's SNAG system. Plastic clubs, tennis balls, four afternoons at Lydell.

About this event
A four-day beginner golf camp held outdoors on the soccer field at Lydell School and Community Center. Skyhawks instructors teach the swing; putting; and body positioning using the SNAG system (Starting New At Golf); a PGA-developed curriculum that swaps real clubs and balls for plastic clubs and tennis balls. The point is a low-frustration entry: kids can connect with the ball; see the flight; and build form before any of it gets intimidating. Afternoons run 1:30 to 4:00pm; which is a real chunk of outdoor time; so packing two snacks and plenty of water matters. Equipment is provided. Good first golf experience for kids who haven't held a club before. August 17-20; 1:30pm · At Lydell School & Community Center · $135 residents; $145 non-residents.
