The details

About this event

Story Time at the Wauwatosa Public Library offers a nurturing environment for young children to develop early literacy skills. Through engaging stories, songs, and activities, kids aged 3-6 can explore their creativity and independence. It's a great opportunity for children to practice motor skills and participate in art and STEM activities.

The library provides a welcoming space for both children and their families. While the program is designed for kids to attend independently, parents and siblings are welcome to join. It's a lovely way for families to spend time together while encouraging a love for reading and learning.

From the organizer

Story Time promotes early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Children will practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as independence; your 3-6-year-old is encouraged to attend on their own if this suits their growing independence and your comfort, but adults (and younger/older siblings) are welcome to join and participate as well. This program fosters exploration and discovery, and may include art, STEM, and mindful movement.
