About this event

Story Time at the Wauwatosa Public Library is a charming program designed for young children to dive into the world of stories and songs. Tailored for ages 3-6, it encourages both independence and family participation. The sessions are filled with interactive elements like fingerplays and movement, making learning fun and engaging.

This program not only supports early literacy but also helps children develop motor skills and explore creativity through art and STEM activities. It's a relaxed environment where kids can learn and grow at their own pace. With no registration required, it's easy to join in and enjoy a morning of discovery and fun.

From the organizer

Story Time promotes early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Children will practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as independence; your 3-6-year-old is encouraged to attend on their own if this suits their growing independence and your comfort, but adults (and younger/older siblings) are welcome to join and participate as well. This program fosters exploration and discovery, and may include art, STEM, and mindful movement.
