The details

About this event

Dive into the art of pie-making with Honeypie Bakeshop's interactive class. Led by Valeri Lucks, this session offers a unique opportunity to learn the secrets behind their famous cream pies. You'll be guided through creating a buttery shortbread crust and a versatile cream filling, perfect for crafting flavors like banana and chocolate cream.

Held in the cozy kitchen of Palomino, this class is as much about the experience as it is about the baking. With a small group size, you'll get personalized attention and the chance to ask all your pie-related questions. Plus, enjoy a complimentary drink to sip on while you work. By the end, you'll leave with your own 9-inch pie and a couple of mini pies to share—or not!

We will make both the crust and a basic cream filling during class and then will learn how to build upon the cream base to create many different pie flavor options such as banana cream, chocolate cream, coconut and more. At the end of class you will have one (1) - 9 inch cream pie to take home - and a couple of mini 4" pies too! Our classes are held at the Honeypie Bakeshop kitchen inside our sister cafe Palomino, this hands-on class will guide you through a variety of different aspects of baking and give you a peek into the life of our bakeshop.
