About this event

The Strider Half Marathon offers a picturesque route starting and ending at Estabrook Park's beer garden. This late summer race is ideal for those prepping for fall marathons, featuring a mix of park loops and the shaded Oak Leaf Trail. The course is mostly asphalt, providing a smooth run with well-placed aid stations.

Post-race, runners are treated to a lively celebration with a hot breakfast and music, making it more than just a race. With a cap of 1,000 entries, it's a community-focused event that combines fitness with fun. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to half marathons, this event promises a rewarding experience.

All registration is online. To simplify your pickup, please complete registration prior to arriving on site. The race begins at 7:00 a.m. The Strider Half Marathon is our late summer Half Marathon. The course starts and finishes in Estabrook Park at the beer garden. Runners will enjoy a few miles around beautiful Estabrook Park before heading out onto the lovely and mostly shaded Oak Leak Trail bike path. Runners will return to the finish line at the Estabrook Park beer garden to enjoy a great post-race party with the famous hot breakfast, beverages, beer, and music! The race fits perfectly into many fall marathon build-up plans.

  • Driving / parking

    Parking at Estabrook Park can fill up quickly on race day. Consider arriving early or using nearby street parking on Wilson Drive, which is usually less crowded.
