About this event

The Quiet Reading Club at Wauwatosa Public Library is a haven for young readers looking to enjoy some peaceful time with a good book. Held every Tuesday, this club offers a quiet space in the library's story room, complete with a variety of books and fidgets to help maintain focus. It's an excellent way for kids to keep up with their reading over the summer without any pressure.

This program is thoughtfully designed for children, ensuring the environment is suitable for their age group. With no registration required, it's easy for families to drop by and let their kids immerse themselves in the world of books. Whether your child has a favorite book or is looking for something new, the library has plenty to offer.

From the organizer

Calling all bookworms! Beat the summer slide and keep reading all summer long. Join our Quiet Reading Club on Tuesdays this summer. We're opening up the story room for you to hang out in the peace and quiet with a good book. We'll have fidgets available if you need help focusing. Don't have a book picked out? Don't worry! We have tons! Registration is not required. Please note: Our children's programs are planned so that they are developmentally appropriate for children of the age range specified. Please respect these age designations when bringing children to Library programs.
