The details

About this event

Peek-A-Boo! is a delightful blend of education and exploration at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Designed for young children and their guardians, this program dives into the fascinating world of animal camouflage. Environmental Educator Alison Schrad leads the session, sharing insights on how creatures use invisibility to thrive in nature.

After the educational segment, participants will hit the trails, turning the lesson into a real-world adventure as they search for camouflaged critters. The experience concludes with a creative craft session where kids can make their own camouflaged creatures to take home. It's a perfect mix of learning, outdoor fun, and creativity, making it a memorable day for families.
