About this event

The Audubon Toddlers: May Series at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is a fantastic opportunity for young children aged 2 to 3 to explore the outdoors. Led by Early Childhood Educator Allie Furru, this program offers a mix of play and learning in the Nature School’s Outdoor Classrooms. It's a wonderful way for kids to get messy and enjoy nature, while adults can connect with other families.

Each session is designed to foster a love for nature and community among young children and their caregivers. The program runs rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. It's a unique chance for toddlers to engage with the natural world and for parents to build connections with like-minded families.

From the organizer

Join us in nurturing a sense of wonder in nature with your little one. Each week we will meet outdoors in one of the Nature School’s Outdoor Classrooms for centers and play before heading out on the trails. Be prepared for your child to get a little messy, it is all part of the fun and learning! Adults can connect with other nature-loving families of young children for fellowship and community.
