The details

About this event

Step into the serene embrace of nature with a guided forest bathing experience at Schlitz Audubon. This unique event, led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Aubrey Fulsaas, offers a chance to slow down and connect deeply with the natural world. As you walk the Green Tree Loop, you'll receive gentle invitations to open your senses and engage with the environment in a mindful way.

Forest bathing is more than just a walk in the woods; it's an opportunity to foster well-being and cultivate gratitude. The session concludes with a special tea brewed from local plants, adding a touch of local flavor to your experience. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply looking to unwind, this event promises a refreshing escape from the everyday hustle.

From the organizer

Deepen your relationship with the natural world during a guided Forest Bathing Walk through our Green Tree Loop trail. Participants will slowly travel through the forest while receiving a sequence of spoken invitations. These open-ended prompts encourage the participants’ senses to open and experience the environment in a way that supports their well-being and the well-being of the forest around them. Forest Therapy provides a pathway for people to immerse themselves in nature to rest and relax, all while deepening connections. We will end each walk with reflection, gratitude, and a custom-blended tea brewed with local plants.
