The class offers a comprehensive introduction to pottery, ensuring you leave with a solid foundation and the confidence to continue creating independently. The included open studio session is a great opportunity to practice and refine your techniques. Whether you're new to pottery or looking to refresh your skills, this class offers a supportive and engaging environment.

From the organizer

In this beginner course, the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel and creating pieces from start to finish will be covered. All clay, glazes, tools, and firing fees are included in the cost of the class. No experience is needed as this class will begin with an explanation of the ceramic process and move through throwing, trimming, and glazing. The goal of this course is to give students a foundation of skills to build on and the confidence to do so with or without continued direct instruction. One free open studio session during the month of the class is included so that students can practice or complete extra work on their projects. Once this four week course is completed, students are eligible to work in T+N’s studio independently during future open studio hours. Registration is not refundable or exchangeable less than 14 days before the start date of the class. Also, missed classes cannot be made up.
