About this event

Dive into the world of pottery with Cream City Clay's Adult Pottery Wheel 1.5 class. This seven-week course is designed for those who have a basic understanding of wheel throwing and are ready to take their skills to the next level. Under the guidance of instructor MaryAnne Roethle, you'll explore creating lids, handles, and plates, while also learning to throw larger pieces and experiment with new surface techniques.

The class is intimate, with a maximum of 12 participants, ensuring you receive personalized instruction. All supplies are included, and students are encouraged to practice outside of class during open hours. With free parking available, it's a convenient and enriching way to spend your Wednesday mornings. Just remember to dress for mess and leave your rings and watches at home.

In this class you will learn Lids-Handles-Plates & More! Create lighter refined shapes, throw larger & learn new surface techniques. All supplies are included. Students are encouraged to practice outside of class during open hours. Class can be taken multiple times. This is a level 1.5 class. Registrants must have completed a multi wheel 1 class recently, be able to center 2 lbs. of clay and easily throw bowls and cylinders.*
