About this event
Building with Clay: IRL Build Mode offers a unique opportunity for kids aged 7-12 to transform their favorite video game ideas into tangible clay creations. This four-day camp focuses on sculpting blocky characters and imaginative structures, teaching essential hand-building skills along the way. It's a screen-free environment where creativity takes center stage.
Located at Tooth and Nail Studio in Milwaukee, this camp provides a supportive and engaging atmosphere for young builders. The structured sessions encourage problem-solving and customization, making it ideal for kids eager to explore their artistic side. With limited spots available, early registration is recommended to secure a place in this popular summer activity.
From the organizer
Inspired by video games and digital worlds, this hands-on clay camp invites kids to take “build mode” off the screen and into real life. Campers will sculpt blocky characters, tools, creatures, and imaginative structures inspired by their favorite video games. We’ll focus on building, customizing, and problem-solving as kids bring their digital ideas into three-dimensional form. Along the way, students will learn basic hand-building skills like shaping, attaching pieces, and adding surface details. This is a creative, screen-free camp designed especially for kids who love games and building—and are ready to level up their making skills IRL.
