A Tuesday/Thursday late-morning class at the Lydell Community Center; taught by Karma McMillan. The session blends Pilates — focused on core strength and stability — with Yin yoga; a slower style where poses are held three to five minutes to work the connective tissues rather than the muscles. The combination targets strength and mobility together: Pilates builds the core and the postural muscles; Yin opens up the hips; hamstrings; and back. Designed to support general fitness; balance; and joint health. Classes run 11:00–11:45am with three sections across the summer. Bring a yoga mat.
