Experience the vibrant colors of spring at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center with "Whimsical Wildflower Colors." This engaging program invites children and their guardians to explore the trails with Environmental Educator Alison Schrad. As you hike, you'll discover various wildflower species and learn what makes each one unique.

After soaking in the natural beauty, you'll have the chance to express your creativity by sketching and painting the flowers you encounter. It's a delightful blend of education and art, making it a perfect outing for families with young children. Remember to dress for the outdoors and be ready to bring home your artistic creations.

Spring is the best time to see beautiful wildflowers bloom. In this child/adult pair program, join Environmental Educator Alison Schrad in hiking the trails to learn about different wildflower species and what makes them unique! As we hike, we will take time to sketch and paint the stunning wildflowers we spot. Afterwards, you will be able to take home all your amazing artwork!
