An hour-a-day climbing intro for kids 5 to 8 at the Novak Family Fieldhouse in Brown Deer. Held Monday through Thursday mornings; with four section windows across the summer. The curriculum is true beginner: basic climbing technique; safety rules; bouldering (climbing across the wall instead of up); and short top-rope work. Instructors build coordination; balance; problem-solving; and strength through games and challenges rather than straight drills. Co-op program run with Brown Deer Park and Recreation. Note the $10 late fee if signup runs close to start - register early. July 27-30; 10am · At Novak Family Fieldhouse.
