The details
Emergency Vet is Club SciKidz's standout camp for animal-loving kids 10-13. The week is structured around real veterinary skills; scaled down — kids run physical exams with stethoscopes and first aid tools; practice suturing on training pads; and work through disease prevention basics. The project list is heavier than most camps at this age: building a working model heart pump; age-appropriate dissections; learning pet CPR; making veterinary tools; and baking dog treats. Good fit for kids genuinely curious about medicine or animal care. Single session; afternoons 1-4pm at Lydell. August 24-28; 1pm · At Lydell School & Community Center · $260 residents; $270 non-residents.
