Part I
About this event
The Watershed Moment Spring Luncheon is a key fundraising event for Restoring Lands, focusing on conservation in the Milwaukee River basin. This gathering offers attendees a chance to learn about recent achievements and future projects, including a new acquisition in Washington County. The event also marks a leadership transition, celebrating outgoing President Rick Fox and welcoming Laurie Parsons. Held at the Prairie Center in West Bend, the luncheon provides a platform for networking and community engagement, with a complimentary meal and an optional talk on prairie restoration. While attendance is free, donations are encouraged to support ongoing conservation efforts.
From the organizer
Watershed Moment is our signature fundraising event in support of land conservation and restoration throughout the Milwaukee River water basin! We’ll highlight successes from our first year as Restoring Lands, the result of a merger between the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust and River Revitalization Foundation. Join us to learn about an exciting new acquisition in Washington County and celebrate the transformative leadership of outgoing Board President, Rick Fox, as he passes the baton to incoming President, Laurie Parsons. This fundraising event is free to attend. Lunch provided. Guests will be asked to consider making a donation.

Part II · The feel
The details organizers don't always put in the description — pulled from the room, the crowd, and what people remember afterward.
Library rules. Whispers and a calm body — this is not a talking-out-loud room.
Designed for 3–6 people. Good group-of-friends territory.
