About this event

The Gentle Stretch and Movement class at the Bay View Branch Library offers a peaceful escape from the daily grind. Designed to enhance flexibility and reduce stress, this class guides you through a series of gentle stretches focusing on range of motion and body awareness. It's an ideal way to unwind and restore your wellbeing in a supportive community setting.

Held on Tuesday afternoons, this class invites you to bring your own yoga mat and water container, while straps and blocks are provided. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, the welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy the benefits of stretching. It's a simple, effective way to take care of your body and mind.

Increase flexibility while decreasing stress through a guided gentle sequence of stretches. Focus on range of motion, balance and body awareness. Unwind and restore your wellbeing. Gentle Stretch and Movement meets Tuesdays from 2:00-3:00pm at the Bay View Branch Library on the following dates: 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23, 6/30, 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 8/4, 8/18, 8/25. There will be no class on 7/28 and 8/11. Please bring your own yoga mat and container for water. Straps and blocks will be provided. For more information, check out our website at mpl.org/calendar.
