Season to Riskare a first wave post-hardcore band that has only gotten weirder over the years, adding dark synth to their genre-blending mix of noise, math, and indie rock. Their rhythm section has gone through multiple changes, at times including most members of Shiner, also from Kansas City, Missouri. Guitarist Duane Tower and singer Steve Tulipana have been constant players, along with David Silver since 1994, and Wade Williamson since 2000. New bass player Ben Ruth (Overstep / Be/Non) has toured with the band for a couple years and became official in 2025.Season to Riskis currently in the studio working on their first new full length album in 25 years.
