About this event

Porch Play is a unique storytelling experience designed for young children and their caregivers. This session brings the beloved book "Dragons Love Tacos" to life through a sensory-immersive approach. Kids are encouraged to be silly and imaginative, mirroring the story's elements and reflecting on their own experiences.

The program is led by teaching artists trained in special education and social-emotional learning, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to engage creatively and connect with stories in a meaningful way. Held at Pink's Accessible Theater House, it's a delightful outing for families looking to explore the arts together.

From the organizer

Join Rebekah for our Porch Play program, our one-time, sensory-immersive, and individualized experience of bringing a story to life. On this week, we will explore the story of Dragons Love Tacos. This Porch Play is perfect for participants who love to be silly and mirror the things they see in stories. It also provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their internal world and share what they love. All Porch Play teaching artists are trained in special education, inclusion, theater, and social-emotional learning. This series is designed for a student and a caregiver. We are CLTS and IRIS vendors. If using this payment method, mark "PAY IN PERSON" upon checkout. We will be in touch to get everything scheduled.
