About this event
Operation Recon Nature for Veterans is a unique opportunity for veterans to connect with nature and each other. Held at the beautiful Wehr Nature Center, this monthly event invites veterans from all service branches to enjoy a guided walk through the trails. It's a chance to experience the changing seasons and share camaraderie in a serene setting.
The event is free, but pre-registration is required to ensure a spot. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle for the walk. Whether you're active duty, reserve, or retired, this is a great way to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Veterans from all service branches – Active Duty, Reserve, and retired personnel are invited to attend monthly outings at Wehr Nature Center. For approximately one to one and a half hours, we will travel on the trails of Wehr Nature Center to share camaraderie and experience seasonal nature happenings.
