Celebrate the end of the running season with a fun and festive race along Milwaukee’s lakefront. The Lakefront Discovery Run offers a 15k, 5k, and a free kids run, complete with candy stations and costume contests. Expect a lively atmosphere with spooky music and post-race snacks. Costumes are encouraged, and everyone gets a free beer, making it a perfect way to enjoy the Halloween spirit.

A yoga program held in Room 17 at the Lydell Community Center; taught by certified yoga instructor Jillian Holy-Skaja. The practice integrates breathwork; joint mobility; hatha yoga postures; and deep relaxation — designed to be adaptable to where each person walks in. Four sections run across the summer; split between two tracks. Gentle Yoga leans toward relaxation and joint care; ideal for people coming back to movement or working around stiffness. Beginner/Intermediate is for people comfortable moving through seated; standing; and floor postures. Jillian works with people one-on-one on modifications; so the class accommodates a range of bodies and abilities.
