This unique training session at Restoring Lands Preserves offers a chance to learn about local wildlife conservation. Participants will be guided through the process of searching for reptiles and amphibians beneath cover boards, an essential skill for monitoring these species. From the organizer

These sessions will teach the process of searching for reptiles and amphibians underneath cover board locations on Restoring Lands Preserves​. Interested volunteers will be required to attend one of the three training sessions. Please dress for the elements and be prepared for hiking off trail. Work gloves are recommended, tools provided.
