About This Venue
Rubies Youth Development and Enrichment Center is a Milwaukee-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing commercial sexual exploitation of children through intervention, education, and trauma-informed care.
Operating from their base on the North Side, Rubies focuses on identifying and supporting youth at risk of trafficking while raising community awareness about this critical issue. Founded by April P. Bentley, the organization partners with Milwaukee County and Children's Wisconsin to provide comprehensive education, resources, and support to at-risk youth, families, and educators throughout the city.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Rubies offers speaker programs, curriculum resources for classrooms, and community education about human trafficking prevention.
