About This Venue
Project Q Youth Programs is a welcoming, drug and alcohol-free safe space serving LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-24 through drop-in gatherings, leadership development, and life skills coaching.
Operating under the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, Project Q creates an affirming environment where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and allied youth can express themselves authentically without fear of judgment. The program serves over 700 young people annually through virtual and in-person drop-ins, with flexible scheduling including Tuesday through Friday afternoons from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at their Court Street location.
Beyond providing community and belonging, Project Q offers structured programming in workforce development, leadership training, arts-based expression, health education, and substance abuse prevention. The organization is committed to fostering positive growth and self-esteem while equipping young people with practical skills for navigating various life stages, making it an essential resource for LGBTQ+ youth throughout the Milwaukee area.
