About This Venue
Milwaukee Winter Club is Southeast Wisconsin's oldest youth hockey organization, established in 1962, offering competitive and recreational ice hockey programs for boys and girls ages 4-14 across multiple skill levels.
Located in River Hills, Milwaukee Winter Club has been a cornerstone of youth hockey development in the region for over six decades. The organization serves northern and eastern Milwaukee County with 25+ teams spanning age groups from 6U Atoms through 14U, creating a welcoming environment where young athletes can develop their skills regardless of experience level. With over 70 female participants and inclusive programming for all abilities, MWC emphasizes both competitive play and recreational enjoyment, making hockey accessible to families throughout the community.
MWC offers comprehensive support for players, parents, coaches, and team managers through multiple resources including off-ice training, referee certification, spring and summer hockey programs, and volunteer opportunities. The club's structured approach to player development—featuring teams organized by age and skill level with names like the Broncos, Coyotes, and Winter Wolves—ensures that every child finds an appropriate competitive environment. From beginner "Try Hockey For Free" clinics to advanced competitive leagues, Milwaukee Winter Club combines tradition with modern youth athletic programming.
