About This Venue
The Milwaukee Curling Club, located in Cedarburg, is the oldest continuously operating curling club in the United States, having been founded in 1845.
Since its historic founding when Scottish settlers began playing on the frozen Milwaukee River, the club has evolved from outdoor ice play to a modern, state-of-the-art facility. Now housed at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds in Cedarburg, the club features five sheets of refrigerated ice and operates from mid-October through the end of March. The welcoming atmosphere caters to everyone from complete beginners to experienced competitive players, with numerous league options, weekend beginner sessions, and junior curling programs available.
The club actively encourages new members and offers Learn to Curl introductory sessions, including popular corporate team-building events that provide an accessible entry point to the sport. With affordable membership options and a vibrant community centered around the strategic, social nature of curling, the Milwaukee Curling Club combines centuries of tradition with contemporary amenities and an inclusive approach to growing the sport in the region.
