About This Venue
Black Husky Brewing is a dog-friendly craft brewery in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood that honors its unique heritage with quality beers and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Founded in 2010 in rural Pembine, Wisconsin, Black Husky Brewing was inspired by the owner's sled dog kennel and named after their beloved husky, Howler. The brewery relocated to its current Milwaukee location in 2016, maintaining the same dedication to craft beer production while expanding its reach. Today, the taproom at 909 E. Locust St. features 12 rotating beers on tap, flights, canned selections to-go, and an expanding spirits and wine menu, all produced with the same care that defined the brewery's origins.
The taproom creates an inclusive, laid-back vibe perfect for both beer enthusiasts and casual visitors, with well-behaved leashed dogs welcome alongside their owners. Beyond sampling craft beers, guests can enjoy regular events ranging from "Milwaukee's Worst Trivia" on Tuesdays to strongman competitions and special beer releases, making Black Husky a hub for community gathering and entertainment in the Riverwest area.
