Girls NFL Flag Football League

A girls-only NFL Flag Football league for grades 2 through 8; played Sundays at the West Allis Athletic Complex. The league splits into three sections by age; so younger players aren't lining up across from middle schoolers. Volunteer parent coaches run practices and games. The five-week season covers the basics of flag football: routes; pulling flags; throwing; catching; and reading a defense. The Sunday block runs long because games are staggered across the day.
