About
A girls-only NFL Flag Football league for grades 2 through 8; played Sundays at the West Allis Athletic Complex. The league splits into three sections by age; so younger players aren't lining up across from middle schoolers. Volunteer parent coaches run practices and games. The five-week season covers the basics of flag football: routes; pulling flags; throwing; catching; and reading a defense. The Sunday block runs long because games are staggered across the day. Good fit for girls who want a real team experience without the contact of tackle football. Sept 13 - Oct 11; 9:30am · At West Allis Athletic Complex · $65 residents; $75 non-residents.
