Fundamentals of Drawing I & Ii

Drawing in two flavors. Fundamentals I focuses on the foundations: which tools do what; how to shade and blend and highlight; how to enlarge or reduce an image mathematically; and a demo on mat cutting. It's structured enough that someone who has never picked up a pencil can keep up. Fundamentals II is for people who want to keep going. Debra Locke shares the working tricks she's developed across her BA in Art Education and years teaching. Bring in a piece you're already working on; or pick a project from her beginner; intermediate; or advanced reference material. Classes run afternoons Mondays and Wednesdays at Lydell. June 1 - July 8; 1:30pm · At Lydell School & Community Center · $120 residents; $130 non-residents.
