As an international soloist and chamber musician, Cobus has performed with orchestras in Russia, South Africa, and the United States and on concert series in Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and France. In addition to his teaching at UMass Amherst, Dr. Steven Felix is the Artist Associate in Trumpet at Williams College, where in addition to teaching applied trumpet, he also co-directs the Williams Brass Choir and is Principal Trumpet of the Berkshire Symphony.
