Death Café at the East Branch Library
Talk about death and dying over snacks and drinks at East Branch. Free and open to all ages, no agenda.
Retirement coaching class with a Certified Retirement Options Coach. Less finance, more figuring out what to do next.
A retirement transition class for people who've either already retired or are working up to it. The framing is less financial-planning and more life-planning: identifying forgotten passions; finding balance; setting goals; and figuring out what to actually do with the years ahead. Linda McGuire is a Certified Retirement Options Coach; and she runs the class as a mix of presentations; group discussions; and facilitated reflection. Tuesday evenings at Lydell. A good fit for someone whose financial picture is sorted but whose sense of purpose is still up for grabs. July 14-28; 6pm · At Lydell School & Community Center · $60 residents; $70 non-residents.
