A guided introduction to multi-day backpacking on one of Wisconsin's best stretches of trail. Eighteen miles over three days and two nights through the Kettle Moraine Northern Unit on the Ice Age Trail; with hands-on instruction in water filtration; campsite selection; food storage; and Leave No Trace. Ian Sweet leads the trip; he's logged 250+ nights on National Scenic Trails including the Appalachian; PCT; and Arizona Trails. Before the trip there's a virtual meet-and-greet to go through gear and logistics. A comprehensive gear list comes with registration; and shared gear options are available if a tent or stove is missing from the kit. Trail meals are provided.
