Safe Sitter Essential W/Cpr

A single-day; in-depth babysitting certification at Lydell Community Center taught by Teresina Simmons; RN. The course splits across three blocks: child care skills (managing behavior; ages and stages of development; hands-on diapering practice); first aid and rescue (choking response and CPR; plus a system for assessing injuries); and life and business skills. The business block has kids role-play screening jobs; talking about fees; and greeting employers — the parts that turn babysitting into actual paid work. Three sections run across the summer.
