The Milwaukee County Sailing Center's Prams in the Park program — nationally recognized — introduces 8-11 year-olds to real sailing on the Discovery World Lagoon. Kids learn wind and water dynamics; sailboat handling; boat rigging and launching; basic maneuvers; and capsize and recovery; all under direct MCSC instructor supervision. The format mixes games with skill-building so the learning curve stays fun. Held mornings 9am to noon; Monday through Friday at the Milwaukee County Sailing Center on North Lincoln Memorial Drive.
