Scales and Sparks: Dragon Drawing Workshop

Scales and Sparks is a focused art workshop at Lydell that runs for one week of mornings; 9-11am. Young Rembrandts instructors lead the room; and the format is straightforward: one dragon per day; drawn at poster size; with a different shape and personality each time. The technical work covers shading; texture; color blending; and detail — kids cycle through color pencils; Sharpies; markers; and pastels across the week. By Friday; each kid walks out with five large finished pieces. Good fit for any kid who already loves drawing and wants concentrated skill-building.
