About this event
Camp Invention is a national STEM program brought into Cumberland Elementary every summer. The 2026 edition runs four module rotations per day; plus a games module; which keeps the energy moving and gives kids a chance to find the projects they connect with. This year's themes lean into entrepreneurship and building — kids work in teams to design a DIY space rocket; mess around with robotic capybaras; and solve open-ended challenges modeled on real-world inventors. The pace is fast and the work is genuinely hands-on. K5 through 6th grade share the building but split into age-appropriate groups. June 15-19; 9am · At Cumberland Elementary School · $315 residents; $325 non-residents.
