About this event
A four-day back-to-school tune-up at Richards Elementary; designed to land kids in a strong spot for the new school year. Mornings cover grade-level math through games; fact-fluency practice; and place value with hands-on manipulatives. Afternoons shift to literacy: short stories; character discussions; and creative writing prompts. Two sessions run with new texts and activities each time; so kids who liked the first round can come back. Karen Eyers and Susan Jones; WFB School District educators; lead both. Active clothes; peanut-free lunch; snack; and water bottle. August 3-6; 9am · At Richards Elementary School · $240 residents; $250 non-residents.
