Kinder Camp is the Whitefish Bay rec department's bridge program for kids who are about to start K4 or K5. It runs inside actual elementary classrooms at Cumberland (Room 116) and Richards (Room 106); so kids get used to the layout; the routines; and the rhythm of a school day before September hits. Mornings mix indoor activities with outdoor time; and the focus is on the practical stuff — sitting in a group; following directions; making friends; handling small transitions. Nut-free building. Kids bring a water bottle and a healthy snack each day. Six sections across the summer make it easy to pick a week that fits. July 27-31; 9am · At Cumberland Elementary School · $85 residents; $95 non-residents.
