Days run 9am to 3pm. The activities are concrete cultural skills; not lectures: making dumplings and lanterns; paper cutting (jianzhi); kite-making; Chinese yo-yo; chess; plus a dragon boat festival mini-race day. Open to kids 6-12. Kids bring a peanut-free lunch; snack; and water bottle each day. August 17; 9am-3pm · At Lydell School & Community Center · $80 residents; $90 non-residents.
