Part I
About this event
Vacation Manor brings their unique blend of indie rock and pop to Anodyne, delivering a performance that combines eloquent lyrics with alternative experimentation. Known for their engaging live shows, Nathan Towles and Cole Young will showcase tracks from their "Back To Town" EP, promising a night of captivating music.
Joining them is Nolen Durham, whose songwriting delves into personal narratives and emotional depth. His self-produced work explores life's challenges and joys, offering a reflective experience for the audience. This event is a must for fans of thoughtful indie music, set in the cozy atmosphere of Anodyne in Walker’s Point.
From the organizer
Since 2016, Vacation Manor have combined an artful blend of eloquent lyricism, alternative experimentation, indie rock energy, and unassuming pop appeal. The duo—Nathan Towles [guitar, vocals] and Cole Young [drums]—have earned acclaim from American Songwriter, Atwood, and more. Now, they pull fans deeper into their embrace on their 2025 "Back To Town" EP. Born & raised in rural North Carolina, Nolen grew up alongside both urbanites and backrow Baptists all the same. Years later, his songwriting is now deeply rooted in exploring the phenomenon of “the hand we are dealt” as individuals. His unreleased, self-produced record is chock-full of songs that further explore the ebb and flow of pleasure and the resurgence of suffering… unveiling that gratitude is the anchor of a life well-lived.
