ft. Glenn Brigman
Triptides' psychedelic rock transforms X-Ray Arcade into a cosmic wonderland.
Part I
About this event
Triptides, the cosmic rock band from LA, is set to transform X-Ray Arcade into a psychedelic wonderland. Known for their kaleidoscopic sound that blends rock, folk, and jazz pop, Triptides offers a live experience that feels like a journey through time and space. Glenn Brigman’s vocals and the band’s signature sound create an atmosphere that’s both nostalgic and otherworldly.
The intimate setting of X-Ray Arcade makes it the perfect venue to catch this dynamic performance. With doors opening at 6:30 PM, it's wise to arrive early to soak in the ambiance and grab a prime spot. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to their music, Triptides promises a night of unforgettable melodies and rhythms.
From the organizer
Over the last fourteen years and dozens of albums and singles, cosmic LA rockers Triptides have traversed a kaleidoscopic musical landscape of psychedelic rock, Laurel Canyon folk, and spaced out jazz pop — but each track can be traced back to the group’s leader, Glenn Brigman’s unique ability to craft and explore a seemingly infinite number of dimensional melodies and harmonies. With every line of Brigman’s airy vocals that dance across the tape and into the speakers, stoners, trippers and lovers alike are transported to a sweet and familiar place, lifted by chiming guitars, hypnotic drums, glittering pianos and hallucinogenic fuzz. Each Triptides recording is a personal reflection, an unexpected evolution and honest testament to The Song. And the next one will be no different. Catch Triptides live, and you’ll see a band that shifts shapes and moods like lightning in a bottle, fluidly and fluently turning up and turning out — always taking the audience on a trip. Either way, you’ll want to find them out there.
