One of the oldest markets in southeastern Wisconsin, in its 106th season, under a covered pavilion. Afternoon hours are the trick — produce is often picked the same day. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Note: no dogs allowed.

A Wednesday-afternoon market on Grafton Common right along the Milwaukee River, near the Riveredge Nature Center's tree-climbing and river kayaking. Easy to combine with an outdoors afternoon.
