30-min storytime for ages 0–5 at Center Street Branch.
Hands-on conservation club for teens to connect with nature and peers.
The Teen Conservation Club at Wehr Nature Center offers a unique opportunity for teens to engage with the environment and each other. This monthly gathering is perfect for those aged 13-17 who are passionate about conservation and eager to make a difference. Held on the last Saturday of each month, the club provides a platform for like-minded individuals to explore their interests in the natural world while contributing to community efforts.
Participants will enjoy hands-on activities that not only educate but also foster a sense of community and responsibility. With a requirement to attend at least six sessions annually, the club ensures a consistent and meaningful experience. It's an ideal setting for teens to develop their interests, build friendships, and contribute positively to the environment.
