Story time and art-making for kids at the Milwaukee Art Museum every Saturday morning.
Story Time in the Galleries at the Milwaukee Art Museum offers a unique blend of storytelling and creativity every Saturday morning. This event invites families to explore the museum's galleries, listen to engaging stories, and participate in art-making activities inspired by the exhibits. It's a perfect way to introduce children to the world of art and creativity in a welcoming environment.
The session begins in Windhover Hall, where participants gather before venturing into the galleries. The storytelling takes place in front of a selected artwork, sparking imagination and discussion. Afterward, children can express their creativity by making their own art pieces. With free admission for kids 12 and under, it's an accessible and enriching experience for families.
