About this event

Spend your Saturday morning at the Milwaukee Art Museum for an engaging session of Story Time in the Galleries. This family-friendly event invites children to listen to a story and then express their creativity by making art inspired by the museum's collection. It's a perfect blend of education and fun, offering a unique way to experience the museum.

The event is held in the beautiful Windhover Hall, providing a stunning backdrop as kids embark on their artistic journey. With free admission for children under 12, it's an accessible and enriching experience for families. Whether you're a regular visitor or new to the museum, this is a wonderful opportunity to introduce young ones to the world of art.

From the organizer

Every Saturday morning, join us in the galleries to hear a story and make art together. Meet in Windhover Hall near the admission desks at 10:30 a.m. and travel with the reader through the galleries. Then, listen to a story in front of a work of art before creating an artwork inspired by what you have seen and heard.
